Winter Sunset over Firth of Forth from East Lothian coast

Dramatic dark clouds suddenly crossing the sky made a huge impact on this wintry sunset and the colours in the foreground made stronger contrasts. Not the most romantic sunset seascape I’ve witnessed but certainly worthy of the effort in trying to convey its magnificent light on such a cold afternoon in winter. It is often the best time of year to see the glorious sunsets that appear over the estuary.
